Feet of Balance

The Feet of Balance are advanced speaker isolators that combine mechanical suspension, magnetic damping, and seven interchangeable springs to achieve 85–95% vibration isolation and improved decay. Fully adjustable for precise speaker weight, they reduce floor coupling and resonance, delivering cleaner, more natural sound across the entire frequency range.

Precision Decoupling for superior sound

The Feet of Balance use a patented design that merges mechanical suspension with seven interchangeable springs and magnetic damping from seven high-capacity neodymium magnets. This synergy stabilizes the suspension system, and both listening tests and measurements show markedly improved decay times while preserving exceptional vibration isolation (85–95%). A built-in pivotal spike further reduces the contact area between the speaker and the floor, achieving highly effective acoustic decoupling. By limiting vibration transfer to surrounding surfaces and furniture, the system prevents the resonances that compromise audio clarity, resulting in a cleaner, more precise, and more natural listening experience.

Carpet Feet

The Feet of Balance are engineered for precise, speaker-specific tuning. Each foot features seven spring positions and includes three different spring types, allowing you to match the suspension to your speaker’s exact weight. When the feet are loaded close to their maximum capacity, the isolation system performs at its peak; as the load decreases, performance gradually diminishes. In addition to the magnetic and spring-based suspension, the design incorporates polyterpenoid damping materials that target specific frequency ranges and help shift the system’s natural resonance for improved control. The feet are built with separate top and bottom sections, giving the user flexibility to adjust the number and stiffness of springs as needed. Once properly configured, this modular structure creates a finely tuned isolation platform that enhances stability, minimizes resonance-related coloration, and provides a more accurate and refined acoustic performance.

Precision-Tuned Configuration

The Feet of Balance have been subjected to extensive listening sessions and measurement-based evaluations. These tests assessed both isolation performance and decay behavior, while also comparing the system to alternative solutions. The results consistently demonstrate its effectiveness in minimizing disturbances and creating a cleaner, more controlled acoustic environment.

Each unit comes preloaded with four HD springs in position D, and additional springs are included to configure any of the recommended setups. For proper installation, the Feet of Balance should be aligned with the logo facing the front of the speaker, and springs should be placed according to positions A–J as shown in the accompanying diagrams and table. To achieve optimal performance, stiffer springs should be positioned along the same axis as the speaker cone, ensuring the isolators are aligned with the speaker’s primary motive forces.
