The Rack of Silence is a versatile and functional audio equipment support system that has been expertly engineered to guarantee minimum resonance and vibration. It comes almost completely preassembled, making it incredibly easy to set up and use. With its innovative design, the Rack of Silence provides unparalleled support and stability for all your audio equipment, ensuring that you can enjoy the highest quality sound with minimal interference. The Apparatus Support system is made of extruded aluminum that efficiently resonance controlled as both inside and outside are coated with acrylic glass and insulated from the wooden strut with a cork lined underside, even the top is cork lined and offers the apparatus a scratch resistance as well as resonance-free surface to be place upon.

On top of the Apparatus Support, it’s also possible to add the Turntable Top Shelf, made of a unique sandwich board, specially developed for acoustic damping, with matching veneers. supported by Solid Tech isolator, Discs of Silence. Rack of Silence Reference Line, is achieved by adding the unique integrated isolation system. Developed from the state-of- the-art, Feet of Silence isolators concept. Enhancing extreme and revolutionary capability of both vertical and horizontal de-coupling. The Rack of Silence solutions are available in black or silver anodized aluminum, several wood trim veneers or colors and can be ordered in different sizes.

Minimizing Resonance

Vibration and resonance are the primary causes of sonic degradation in audio systems, often preventing even the most high-end Hi-Fi setups from faithfully reproducing the full emotional and expressive depth of recorded music. Common drawbacks such as sonic coloration and limited soundstage are typically the result of inadequate rack designs.

To address these issues and preserve the integrity of transient response, tonal balance, and soundstage imaging, we’ve developed a revolutionary approach to rack design. By minimizing the use of resonance-sensitive materials, particularly in the shelf board, we reduce energy storage within the rack, preventing unwanted resonance. This innovative design, paired with carefully selected materials, ensures that your audio system can perform at its fullest potential, delivering the most accurate and immersive listening experience possible.

Suspension system

For even greater isolation and enhanced performance, we offer an optional free-floating suspension system for the shelves (Reference). This advanced suspension technology isolates the shelves completely, both vertically and horizontally, eliminating any residual vibrations and further optimizing the system’s overall sound quality.

Stackable

The Rack of Silence is designed to be stackable. By replacing the standard top lid with one featuring a brass insert, you can securely position an additional rack on top, creating a stable and aesthetically cohesive multi-tiered setup.

Resonance-Eliminating Corner Pillars

The extruded aluminum pillars are designed to evoke timeless Roman architecture, while also effectively eliminating resonance, enhancing vertical propagation, and improving both mechanical and vertical grounding properties.

Measurement

Three pillar heights are available: 300mm (11.8in), 600mm (23.6in), and 900mm (34.4in). The wood trims are crafted from hardwood beech and come in stained finishes of cherry, walnut, black, and white. The rack dimensions are 700mm (27.6in) in width and 500mm (19.7in) in depth, with each shelf accommodating audio equipment up to 535mm (20in) in width.

Load limits

The Rack of Silence accommodates any audio configuration. The Basic shelves support up to 40kg (88 lbs), while the Heavy-Duty shelves can handle up to 80kg (176 lbs) of equipment.
